Ilfusion Creative is a full-service marketing agency seeking a part-time graphic designer with 2+ years of experience to work in our Ilfusion East office. We are looking for someone who can magically transform a blank screen into something that will resonate with clients that span the spectrum of industries across the nation.
The person in this position will design the look of websites which will then be given to a developer for coding. They will also be required to design client collateral, from logos, catalogs, brochures and ads to social media graphics and e-newsletters. Care and attention to detail is of the utmost importance for this position.
The graphic designer will work closely with the creative team including the web development team, social media team and account managers to make sure that the needs of our clients are met. The graphic designer will exceed all projects with the outstanding quality, creativeness, responsiveness and courtesy that Ilfusion is known for. This person will be expected to manage their own time, workload and is expected to meet all deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating website wireframes, mockups, navigation structure and pages ready for developers to code
- Work with the development and project management teams to create, not only eye catching web graphics, but designs that will have the ability to be produced within the scope of the project
- Responsible for print media, logo and collateral design for clients in a number of industries
- Produce PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and other materials for both client and internal use
- Create custom graphics for Facebook and Twitter pages and YouTube channels
- Effectively utilize Basecamp, Ilfusion’s client management software.
Requirements:

- An innovative and amazing portfolio that shows us: front-end web design, and anything that you feel you would like us to see
- Extreme proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
- A resume that shows your experience, especially web design experience
- 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer with experience in great-quality front-end web design
- A Bachelor’s degree in design
- Extremely detail oriented
- Technical competence (understanding of social media channels, web technology and new marketing techniques)
- Motivated, goal oriented and persistent
- A high level of personal initiative and the ability to be effective in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
Not Required but a Plus:
- Knowledge of web programming languages, PHP, ASP, CSS, HTML5, Javascript etc
- Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, Magento and other CMS platforms
