Do You Have What It Takes To Work On Our Graphic Design Team?
If you’ve taken a look around our website and browsed our portfolio, you know that Ilfusion has some of the best graphic designers in town. They’re the best not only because they know how to create killer graphics, but also because they know how to work in a fast-paced ad agency and they bring their A-game to work with them every day.
What do you need to be a successful part of Ilfusion’s graphic design team? Here are a few of the things we look for in a design candidate.
Creativity
Of course, we need creative minds on the graphic design team. But we also need people who can apply intelligence and maturity to that creativity to create graphics that are not only visually appealing, but also solid and timeless, and in the case of websites, sustainable, easily navigable and SEO friendly. Keep in mind, all of this needs to be accomplished within the framework of what the client wants.
Organization
Our graphic designers juggle multiple projects at once, and on occasion someone tosses in a new ball. You have to be able to catch it, without dropping anything, and get it going along with the rest.
Communication
You’ll be working with several different departments, including the web development team, the social media team and the account managers. You’ll need to be able to interpret their words and turn them into designs that match the images in their heads, or at least come as close as you can without being able to see someone else’s thoughts, which would be pretty creepy.
Cool under pressure
We work in a fast-paced environment, and our growing list of clients means that it’s only getting faster. We need people who won’t break out into a cold sweat when they feel a little breath on the back of their necks.
Do you think you have what it takes to be a part of our design team? Prove it! Take a look at the list of open positions in our Graphic Design department and submit your resume.
