Face, Voice, Video: Why Your Company Needs Them
We recently produced a brand-new video introducing Ilfusion Creative to new friends and followers, and you’ll notice that it’s decidedly different from our usual Problem Solver videos. This is an introductory video that conveys Ilfusion’s personality to the people who view it. Videographer Micah Hayman developed the video to showcase our fun, creative attitude; to show that we have fun at work and that our clients (or would-be employees) will have fun working with us.
This kind of video can be of immense value to any business. A high-quality video pushes your image as professionals, and the content can be designed to demonstrate whatever “personality” you want your company’s image to be. You don’t have to go fun/silly like we did; a video projecting professional integrity and hard work is an option, or perhaps you want to show off your company’s dynamic and innovative sides.
The west coast grocery store chain Fresh & Easy hired us to create a series of videos titled “A Great Place to Work” illustrating the reasons why they’re a great place to work. The videos encompass everything from company culture and values, to making a difference, to discussion of specific departments and employee spotlights. These are specifically targeted at potential employees, of course, but it’s fairly simple to expand their reach to include clients and customers.
Ever since the advent of the animated GIF, the Internet has ceased to be a medium of only text and pictures. Video can give your company a voice, a face, the keys to allowing your target market to connect with you on a personal level- a key step to develop a loyal and growing customer base.
