Au revoir, Fort Worth!
Today marks a very bittersweet day in the exciting life of Allison King. It is my last day in Fort Worth, and my last day working with the amazing creative agency, Ilfusion. The past year has been a whirlwind, and I am so glad that I was able to share it with this company and the incredible people that make it. Since I first walked into the office last April, nerves soaring about the interview that was about to begin, a lot has changed. We went through office moving, position swapping, and we became a gold winning agency. I have loved getting to know each and every one of our clients. Getting to work behind the scenes of so many different industries has broadened my view of the world. Seeing how agency life works is an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world. Execution for any project truly is a team effort. From sales, to design, to promotion and maintenance, I really have learned that it takes a dedicated task force for any successful campaign!
My adventures are taking me back home with my family to Houston, Texas. And here is where I will enter my shameless social media plug (hey, this was my job for the better part of the past year). If you feel so inclined to continue viewing my crazy life, feel free to follow me on Twitter at @a_king2013 or my Instagram at @amichellek90. But who you really want to follow is my adorable corgi @jacksonthecorgi. I only mention him because when I first started at Ilfusion, I started an Instagram account for him as a little social media experiment. 1650 followers later, I would say that it’s been a success. [End shameless plug]
I am leaving Ilfusion with amazing experiences that will help me for the rest of my professional career. I’ve made great friends and gained wonderful mentors. I’ve learned the importance of prioritization and accountability. I’ve learned to wake up at 6:30 in the morning (most days). I’ve gotten to see how Ilfusion makes companies better businesses, and I know that Ilfusion has made me a better person.
With lots of love, Frenchy is signing off. I can’t wait to see the incredible things that this agency continues to do!
