Ilfusion to the Future

It all happened on a rainy afternoon in 1985. Ryan was busy learning to play the new A-ha hit, ‘Take on Me’ on his Ibanez electric guitar. Just as he was perfecting some legendary dance moves, his best friend Jeff came cruising up the street in his ’82 DeLorean. The two had planned to play a new Atari game all afternoon together.
After several hours of playing the Ghostbusters game, the guys grew hungry and decided to take a break to eat. Being a single vegetarian, the only food around Ryan’s bachelor pad was some raw bean sprouts and leftover tofu. Needing more sustenance, Jeff finally convinced Ryan to go with him to Sizzler. Sporting their Members Only jackets, Ryan and Jeff jumped in the DeLorean, popped in their Tears for Fears cassette tape and burned out of the driveway.
Coincidentally, their waiter at the restaurant was none other than their friend Clif McFly. While Jeff and Ryan talked about Ryan’s dream to become a rock star, Clif interjected…”Rock stars are overrated. We should build websites!” Jeff and Ryan were unaware that Clif was from the future. He worked for a creative agency called Ilfusion, that would cease to exist if Ryan didn’t change the career path he was on.
Knowing he would need the help of an influential friend, Clif let Jeff in on his secret. “We have to make Ryan change his mind. He has to fall in love with the Internet or we’re doomed!” exclaimed Clif. “The only way is to take him to the Computer Science convention this weekend where he’ll indirectly fall in love with the Internet via a Macintosh computer… but how do we get him there?” he pondered. “Ooooh! What if we tell him it’s a rock star convention?” Jeff suggested. “It’s so simple it just might work!”
So that weekend the three went to the convention. As soon as Ryan stepped through the door, he was captivated by all the people and technology. While they were there, nerd forces brought the other future team members of Ilfusion together. Code Master and Site Ninja were there, as well as Word Warrior, Social Slugger, The Genie, The Doctor, Problem Solver and Micah. Wanting to freeze the moment in time, they all found their destiny and piled into the photo booth. The resulting picture (seen above) is referenced to this day to ensure no one is fading from the image. With such an awesome team, Ryan and Jeff don’t want anyone to…disappear. Little did they know, that picture would save their future.
And the rest is… history?
