Everyone is always trying to find ways to be more efficient with their busy schedule at the office. Here is some insight into how the Ilfusion team stays on schedule to produce the best quality work in the most efficient way.

Split your day up according to tasks

Start the day off by taking care of any administrative tasks and schedule set times during the day to respond to emails so it does not become a distraction. When small things are out of the way, you can spend the majority of your day uninterrupted to focus on bigger projects that require more creativity and thought.

Track your time

It is important to keep track of how you are utilizing your time. Tracking your time can reveal how you spend your day, and from there, you can find ways to increase efficiency. Review your time at the end of the day to determine how your time was distributed, and think about ways you can improve your work patterns.

Prioritize your to-do list

Each morning, review your to-do list and rank tasks based on their urgency and difficulty. Then set goals for when each task needs to be completed and organize them by priority. Make sure you schedule your more demanding tasks, such as group related work, to be completed at the peak of your day to increase efficiency.

Value meeting time

Create agendas to set expectations and the desired outcome for each meeting. Agendas ensure that meetings stay on topic, reach established goals, and most importantly, start and end on time. They also help team members properly prepare for the meeting ahead of time. Everyone appreciates meetings that are efficient and effective!

Find time to unwind

At the end of the day you need to find a way to disconnect from your work and clear your head for a fresh start tomorrow. It is important to relax and unwind to relieve stress, celebrate hard work and improve creativity!
