Video Rodeo: Christmas Edition

It’s that time! Christmas is practically here and so are hundreds of cute, awesome, festive, and clever videos to watch when we’re too restless to work (it’s ok, we won’t tell your boss). In this Christmas Edition of Video Rodeo, we have fantastic examples of viral videos!

Up first is the “Puppy Christmas” video; pretty self-explanatory but still even cuter than it sounds.

Some of you might be asking yourselves why this video reached almost one million hits in four days, but hopefully the majority of you know why. Pets doing adorable things always results in a viral reaction. Now if it had been kittens coming out of a box and destroying Christmas presents, the video would probably have double the hits, thanks to “Catvertising” (what is the fascination? We’re still not sure).

Moving on, our second video, “Angry Birds Christmas Lights,” is highly creative and clever.

Once again, it should be obvious why this video is so popular. The world has been taken over by Angry Birds (from the games to the clothing and other merchandise) and the addiction seems to only be growing. So naturally, watching a giant-sized, Christmas lights version with original sound effects is very entertaining. The time, ingenuity and devotion to the game that must have gone into creating this video is admirable and we commend you. In fact, kudos to the guy who made the puppy video as well…too much cuteness can be dangerous to your health.
